Clairin is a rhum produced in Haiti from sugar cane juice and/or syrup using very traditional production techniques. This bottle of clairin is amazing!! As you can tell, we really enjoyed this tasting and will probably be picking up the rest of the Single Estate releases from Spirit of Haiti... if we can find them all.

Clairin Le Rocher (2018 Harvest):

  • 46.9% ABV, $50

  • Produced by Bethel Romelus in the village of Pignon in Haiti

  • Cane juice syrup made from 3 different varieties of local grown, hand harvested sugar cane

  • Wild fermentation with ~30% dunder

  • Pot distilled with direct fire

  • Bottled at distillation strength
