Blind Tasting No. 14

Finished February

Barrel finishing is relatively new and becoming a popular thing in the American whiskey industry. This means used barrels that previously held things like sherry, wine and rum are used to add a layer of complexity to the whiskey that it wouldn’t normally develop while maturing in new, charred American oak. So we’re finishing February with a tasting all about barrel finished American whiskeys.

Difficulty: Hard

How much: $30/tasting package (+$10/glencairn)

What’s included:

  • Three 2oz bottles of whiskey

  • 60-90 minute guided tasting
