Peated whiskies are traditionally from Scotland, in the Islay region to be more specific. Peat gives smoky whiskies their smokiness. But peat is found in wetlands all over the world! And peated whiskies are also found all over the world. During this tasting we’ll explore peated whiskies from places other than Scotland. Remember, this tasting is blind, so the bottles will only be labeled D, E and F. It’s up to your palate to identify the whiskies.
