Triple Distilled
During this tasting we’ll dive into how distillation, specifically triple distillation, changes the flavor profile of the whiskey. Traditionally, Irish whiskeys are triple distilled resulting in a light, honey and vanilla flavor profile. This is different from their Scotch producing neighbors that typically double distill. But will all the whiskeys be Irish? There’s only one way to find out. Remember, this tasting is blind, so the bottles will only be labeled S, T and U. It’s up to your palate to identify these whiskeys and determine if any of them are not from Ireland.
